Terms of Use

Terms & Conditions of Sale

Last updated: [date]

These terms apply when you buy from getpawset.com. They're written to be read, not skimmed — and nothing in them reduces your statutory rights as a UK consumer. Where a term couldn't lawfully bind you, we haven't written it.

— honest limit: these terms only ever apply to the version you agreed to at purchase. If we change them, the changes apply to future orders — not yours.

Who we are. Pawset, Chamber of commerce: 42101031Contact: info@getpawset.com

1. Using this website

By placing an order you confirm you're at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. The website, its content, design, and the Pawset name and marks are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes; you don't acquire any ownership rights by using it.

You agree not to misuse the website — including attempting to breach its security, uploading malicious code, scraping or collecting other people's personal information, infringing intellectual property rights, or using the site for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or withdraw access to the website where we reasonably believe these terms are being breached.

2. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy at getpawset.com/pages/privacy-policy explains what data we collect and why. It forms part of these terms.

3. Products are for personal use

Products bought from this website are for personal, domestic use only — not for resale or commercial redistribution. Products resold outside our channel may be materially different (storage, handling, missing programme materials), which affects our ability to stand behind them. We may decline orders we reasonably believe are placed for resale.

4. Product information, safety, and what this site is not

Everything on this site is general information about our products and method. It is not veterinary advice. If your dog has a nail, paw, or health condition — or shows persistent distress during handling — consult a qualified vet before starting or continuing.

Follow the product instructions and the 7-Day Calm Trim Programme as supplied. Safety information we state before purchase matters — for example, the care needed with long-haired dogs near the wheel, and the towel you'll want for dust.

— honest limit: not built for giant breeds with very thick nails. We state this before you buy because it belongs before you buy.

We work to keep product descriptions, pricing, and availability accurate, but errors can occur. If we discover a genuine error in the price or description of something you've ordered, we'll contact you before dispatch — you can reconfirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. Colours on your screen may differ slightly from the physical product.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are shown before you confirm your order — no charges are added at checkout that weren't shown to you.

By submitting payment details you confirm you're authorised to use that payment method and the details are accurate. Payments are processed by [payment processor — pending your setup]. We never see or store your full card details. If your card issuer participates in an account-updater service, expiry updates may be passed to our payment provider automatically; you can opt out via your issuer.

We're not responsible for fees your own bank may charge you.

6. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges receipt; the contract is formed when we dispatch your order. We may decline an order — for example, where we can't verify payment or delivery details, where a pricing error occurred, or where we reasonably suspect resale. If we decline your order after payment, you receive a full refund to your original payment method, promptly.

7. Delivery

We ship to United Kingdom addresses. Estimated delivery times and costs are shown at checkout and on our Shipping page. If no time is agreed, we'll deliver within 30 days of the contract being formed, as UK law requires.

Please check your address carefully — if an order goes astray because the address given was incorrect, we may not be able to recover it, though we'll always try to help. If you spot a mistake after ordering, email info@getpawset.com immediately; we often dispatch the same day, so we can't guarantee changes will reach the order in time.

Risk and ownership. The products are your responsibility from the moment they're delivered to your address. Ownership passes on the later of delivery or full payment. Until delivery, the risk of loss or damage in transit is ours, not yours.

8. Cancellation, returns, and refunds

Three separate rights apply. In order:

a. Your 14-day cooling-off right (statutory). For most online purchases you may cancel for any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods, and return them within 14 days of telling us. You don't need a reason. We refund the product price plus standard outbound delivery within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or proof of return). We may reduce the refund if the goods have been handled beyond what's needed to inspect them. Return postage for a change-of-mind cancellation is your cost.

b. Our 30-day money-back guarantee. Separate from and in addition to the above. If the system doesn't work in your house within 30 days of delivery, tell us at info@getpawset.com and return it for a full refund of the product price. Full terms on the Guarantee page.

c. Faulty goods (statutory — no 30-day cap). If a product is faulty, misdescribed, or not fit for purpose, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 applies: a full refund within 30 days of delivery, and repair or replacement remedies after that. These rights are not limited by our guarantee window.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving your return and go to your original payment method; your bank may take a few days to post it. For returns, use a tracked service — until a return reaches us, it remains your responsibility.

— honest limit: the guarantee covers your money, not your dog's behaviour. The statutory rights above sit on top of it, always.

9. Our liability

What we're responsible for. If we breach these terms or fail to use reasonable care, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer as a foreseeable result. We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (including that products are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described).

What we're not responsible for.

  • Loss or damage that isn't foreseeable, or that arises from using the product other than as instructed. The 7-Day Calm Trim Programme and the product instructions exist for a reason — please follow them.
  • Business losses. Our products are supplied for domestic and private use only.
  • Damage caused by failing to follow safety guidance stated before purchase — for example, care needed around long-haired dogs near the wheel.

About your dog. Nail care involves a live animal, and no manufacturer can control how any individual dog responds. We don't accept liability for a dog's reaction to grooming. What we do instead is state the product's limits before you buy, ship a method designed for gradual introduction, and back it with the 30-day money-back guarantee.

About the website. We aim to keep the site available and accurate but can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it's free of viruses — use appropriate protection on your own devices. This paragraph is about the website only; it doesn't affect your rights in relation to products you buy.

— honest limit: your statutory rights as a UK consumer sit above everything in this section. No line here can reduce them, and none tries to.

10. Disputes

If something goes wrong, contact us first: info@getpawset.com. Most problems are fixable without anything formal — that's what the guarantee is for.

If we can't resolve it between us, you're free to use alternative dispute resolution or take the matter to court. We are not obliged to and do not currently participate in an ADR scheme. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights as a UK consumer.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

11. Reviews, photos, and other submissions

If you send us a review, photo, or story, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on our website and in our marketing, together with your first name. You confirm it's your own genuine experience and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. If you'd like something you submitted taken down, email info@getpawset.com and we'll remove it from future use.

We only publish real customer words, verbatim. We don't edit reviews into something you didn't say, and we don't publish fabricated ones.

12. Intellectual property and takedown

All content on this site is owned by or licensed to Pawset. You may view, print, or download material for personal, non-commercial use only; any other reproduction, distribution, or derivative use requires our prior written consent.

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, email info@getpawset.com (Attn: Copyright) with: a description of the work, where the material appears on our site, your contact details, and a statement that you own or are authorised to act for the rights holder. We'll investigate and remove or disable access to material we in good faith believe infringes.

13. Third-party links

The site may link to third-party websites (couriers, payment providers, social platforms). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or policies — check their terms before transacting with them. Comments made by users on our social media are their own, not ours.

14. Communications

We'll communicate with you by email about your orders. Electronic communications from us (order confirmations, notices) have the same effect as written ones.

15. General

Assignment. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation (for example, if the business is sold); this won't affect your rights. You may not transfer yours without our written agreement.

Waiver. If we don't enforce a term immediately, we can still enforce it later.

Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.

Entire agreement. These terms, together with the policies they reference (Privacy, Shipping, Refunds, Guarantee), are the whole agreement between us for your purchase.

16. Questions

Email info@getpawset.com. We aim to reply within 1-2 business days.
